White Wolf's Stag Arms to Relocate from CT to WY

November 15, 2019

Stag Arms LLC announced the appointment of Chad Larsen as President and revealed plans to relocate from New Britain, Connecticut to Cheyenne, Wyoming by year-end. The company's board conducted an extensive site selection process, ultimately choosing Wyoming for its business-friendly environment and alignment with the firearms industry.

White Wolf Capital CEO Elie Azar stated the relocation addressed three priorities: "visionary customer-centric leadership, a business-friendly, pro-growth economic environment, and a cultural climate that reflects Stag's brand image."

Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon welcomed the decision, noting the state's "deep-seated commitment to the Second Amendment" and commitment to supporting private enterprise. Cheyenne LEADS, the local economic development organization, assisted with site selection and workforce evaluation beginning in June.

Larsen previously led new product development at Aero Precision in Tacoma, Washington for six years. He brings expertise in the Modern Sporting Rifle platform and is an active competitor in shooting sports. He succeeds Anthony Ash, who served as president since 2016.

The relocation follows similar moves by Weatherby and Magpul to Wyoming. Stag emphasized its commitment to maintaining "100% made in the United States" manufacturing and continuing innovation in left-handed rifle production.
