NSC Technologies, a White Wolf Capital Group portfolio company, completed the acquisition of Shipyard Staffing. Transaction specifics were not made public.
CEO John Gulnac stated the deal “reinforces NSC’s commitment to growth and our determination to lead the Marine and Skilled Trades staffing industries.” He highlighted anticipated synergies from combining the organizations.
Jack Anthony, Shipyard Staffing’s principal, explained the company sought a partner with “resources and expertise to help us continue to grow.” He described the NSC partnership as fulfilling their strategic objectives for the marine labor sector.
Andres Gutierrez, White Wolf Managing Director, emphasized alignment between the firms, noting “Shipyard Staffing’s expertise and commitment to the Marine staffing industry align well with NSC.”
Shipyard Staffing brings over two decades of experience supplying skilled and unskilled professionals to shipyard and marine infrastructure clients through contract placements, permanent positions, and contract-to-permanent arrangements for commercial and government customers.
NSC Technologies positions itself as a trusted provider of staffing solutions across marine, energy, commercial, and industrial sectors. The company maintains headquarters in Portsmouth, Virginia, having been recapitalized by White Wolf Capital in November 2016.
White Wolf Capital operates as a private investment firm established in 2011, targeting North American middle-market companies with revenues between $20 million and $200 million across manufacturing, business services, and defense sectors.
